14. Danish Morini Meeting

Thursday the 20 th - Sunday the 23th of August in Hygind, Vestfyn

For the fourteenth time It's my pleasure to invite you to the Danish Morini Meeting

And this time the real one...

It's unusual times we're in and therfore also this unusual date! Because of the borders being cloes and the prohibition on crowd gatherings I felt obliged to postpone the annual meeting. But since the borders have (somewhat) opened and we again are allowed to meet in larger crowds, even in public, I now finally can present the date for the meeting.

As usual a something about the background:
Though the meeting originally was intended to be a meeting place for danish Morinisti, the previous meetings has proven it to be quite international. And I hope this year will be no different.

The theme of the meeting is still 'custom', but we already have found a winner in the catogory 'best interpretation of the theme' at our small "online-meeting". The winner is Martin from Germany. He has promised to turn up with his New York 1350 and we very much look forward to seeing it - and hopefully many other custom Morinis.

Program also looks a bit unusual:
As foreign guests (at least for the time being) have to book 6 overnight stays I've decided to put another acticty in the program - that is, besides that the meeting from this year officially sets off Thursday afternoon.
The date was chosen because in that weekend the famous Rømø Motor Festival was supposed be held, and since I know many had planned to attend, i found it suitable to choose that date for the meeting.
The program therfore also starts like this:

Wednesday:

* We meet up on Rømø during the day. I'll be there from afternoon
* I will facilitate cooking gear so we can have supper on the beach
* Sleeping arrangements is up to you to figure out (- I'll sleep on the beach ;o)

Thursday:

* Tour from Rømø to Hygind
* We decide how the day has to go
* Afternoon: meeting is oficially on
* Evening: Possibly a tour to a small bike meet in Odense
* Supper when we feel like

Friday:

* We decide how the day has to go
* 19.00 – Dinner.
* The rest of the evening – chatting around the campfire

Saturday:

* 9:00 – Breakfast
* 10:30 – Road trip
* 12:30 – Lunch
* 16:00 – Return
* 19:00 – Dinner
* 21:00 – Award ceremony
* The rest of the evening – chatting around the campfire

Sunday:

* 9:00 – Breakfast and depature

For planning: if you come Wednesday and/or Thursday, please announce so.

The partition fee of 65 € is paid at arrival

The fee covers everything at the meeting (except fuel for your Morini ;o)

The meeting takes place at the usual address:

Skræppedalsvej 38, Hygind, 5592 Ejby.

If you need a "6-day-overnight-booking-confirmation" ask me a week in advance.

I'll then send it to you - but I hope things have changed so much at that time that it isn't necessary.
